Pit Bulls

Governor Kasich signed a new bill on February 21, 2012 that states Pit Bulls are no longer classified as a "Vicious" or "Dangerous" dog.  The bill will go into effect on May 20, 2012.

What do I do with old Prescription Medications?

With prescription drug abuse on the rise it's wise to destroy medication as soon as possible.  If you no longer need it, get rid of it!  We often have people ask if they can bring the medication to the police division to be destroyed and that is something we will not do.  We cannot take the prescription from you, but we can direct you on what to do.

Check our website for events like the "Prescription Take Back Day" that we have annually in Preble County.  We've already held the event for 2011 but we'll do it again in the fall of 2012.
